OK, I'm wondering what Prince has been smokin'.  Years ago, he was tired of his record label and left them.  He said that he was going to make all his music available on the internet.  Now, Prince is whining about the internet and claims "the internet is dead".

McDonald's is launching its first television advertising campaign targeting gay men.

The fast food giant's commercial - with the slogan 'Come as you are' - is to be aired on television in France.

It features a teenager sitting in a McDonald's restaurant gazing at a photo of his gay lover in a class photo, then phoning to say he 'misses him'.

The Daily Show reported on the similarities between discrimination against gays and lesbians and armed Americans who have decided to “no longer be silent” about their lifestyle choice.

“We want gun ownership and gun carry to come out of the closet,” John Pierce of Virginia tells reporter Wyatt Cenac. “The struggle that open carriers have has parallels with the struggles gay and lesbian couples face.”

VILLE PLATTE, La. - A 52-year-old Louisiana woman has pleaded guilty to two counts of sale of a minor for trading two children to a couple in exchange for an exotic pet bird and $175.

Donna Louise Greenwell received 15 months of hard labor on each count on Monday, which she will serve concurrently.

The Evangeline Parish Clerk of Court's Office tells The Advocate newspaper that Greenwell will begin serving her sentence March 25.

Greenwell was accused of selling the couple a 4-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy in return for the cash and a cockatoo. Both children were in Greenwell's care after their biological parents had left them with her.
